My first EOD of March and apologies to regular readers for the lateness of today's post. When I left work there were no submissions and I went straight to the cinema to see Gran Turino. Very good film, well worth a watch if you're looking for something to do this weekend. For other things to do there's always the FA Cup, Everton take on Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon which should be a good game. Can you tell I'm trying to pad this out a bit? Well by the time I got home there was one submission and it's from James in Customer Services:
I know I'm late, but hopefully better late than never.
Today our customer service team have as with all other days been doing both calls and tickets. However within Sheffield we have a load of new colleagues join us to assist wiith those workflows. They have all finished training at various stages over the past week, so thanks very much to Mike Trevor who is our QOS & Training agent for handling it all so well and getting the new staff ready to hit the floor. We have split them between the account change workflows and provisioning areas due to the successful impact of the product refresh which appears to be doing great business due to the size of our work pools at the moment. So hello to Arfan, Malik, Katie, Vicky, Oliver, Digant, Kim, Darren, Srini, Andy, Rob and Sarfraz in their first weeks. Hello and welcome everyone! And that's it for today, end of the week tomorrow and the weekend to look forward to. Probably going to snow by the sounds of things at some point, roll on the summer because my tan is going to fade quick at this rate...
