4G Phone Unable to make calls or Text

Hi

My phone is 4G but from last night I have not been able to make calls or texts. The message "cannot connect to mobile network" pops up. Checking my network in my settings shows all is connected.

I cannot make a text for a PAC number..

Hi @Kade 

Sorry of this is a dumb question but have you tried turning the phone off and on again?

If so another test is to try and force the phone to 2G mode.

For android that option is usually under the settings, connections and Mobile Networks.

No, it fixed itself 24 hours after it went.

I wonder if it had anything to do with The news story that was happening at the same time?

"Yemeni Houthi rebels suspected of damaging underwater Red Sea cables responsible for 17% of global internet traffic" 

I know it's not the internet, but maybe there's more to the story/damage.

I have a PAC number now, so all good. Thanks.
