Re: Broadband constantly dropping

Line testing can “fix” an iffy joint … for a short while ... creating a “no fault found during the test” condition. When the joint gets damp again, the issue will return.

Re: Broadband constantly dropping

Phone and internet been okay since this problem in November (about 4 1/2 months) but is now dropping and reconnecting over and over since yesterday. Phone line sounds good , no noise. Could someone look into this again for me please?

Thanks.

Have you run the diagnostic bots?

Re: Broadband constantly dropping

@Okay,

Hi!

No faults found when running testing BUT, there is a power issue in your postcode that I would think would be causing issues.

The actual line is testing fine, so there does not appear to be anything wrong with the infrastructure, just power issues in your post code.

Don't have an estimate fix date I'm afraid but if you contact local council they should have more information about it would expect.

I doubt Openreach are going to be able to put anything in place themselves, of course, if the issue persists past the power outage problem please let us know, then we can look into the issue further.

I hope this is helpful.

Thanks,

Lex

Re: Broadband constantly dropping

Okay, thanks for checking for me. I'll leave it a few days and see it goes.
