Well you could start as @jab1 says by looking at the usage stats on the Hub. That wont show which device but it will show the total

Followed by disconnecting all devices and re-adding them one by one to seeif your upload total shoots up when a particular device is re-introduced.

@zakf782

if you do have a Hub two you can check individual device usage in http://192.168.1.254/basic_-_my_devices.htm

Screenshot 2023-02-01 180628.png

The example shows 392.8MB up and 37.5GB down

Re: Broadband speeds are fine BUT can't stream and download/game at same time

Same problem here.

However, I swapped from BT to Plusnet last month (so I essentially have the same equipment and provider). Prior to the swap I'd never experienced this issue. The house could download, stream, video stream etc without anyone noticing a degrading of the service.

I had plusnet support run the speed test while I was downloading a game and my speedtest was showing 1.05 Mbps (The package I have is Unlimited Fibre Extra). They said the speed was showing  75+ Mbps and also stated the speed wasn't being throttled.

I suspect it is a router demand management issue as Steam is showing that it downloading at 75 Mbps.

As I had the same router with BT a month ago didn't have this issues there must be a setting that can be adjusted.

Am I right? Does anyone know which setting to adjust?
