Can I keep my Plusnet email if I cancel my Plusnet account?

With the new price rises in line rental recently announced, I have started to look at other providers. 

I have already stopped my landline telephone service to save money.

We now have Lightning fibre in our street so I can get FULL fibre to my home with speeds over double what I get from Plusnet. There are no other full fibre providers available. It would cost half what I pay Plusnet now. But they are only offering the full fibre NOT an email account. 

Can I keep my Plusnet email account?

No - you lose access the day you move.

@pring4177 That option was withdrawn some time ago - if you cancel your PN account, you lose the email address once the transfer to another ISP completes.

Be aware that if you use IMAP to access and keep your emails then ‘lose access’ is not just referring to loss of use of the email service going forward, all your previously sent and received emails will be deleted.
