Hi All,
My contract ended a week ago so I am now on the standard service. Since then, I can't access the plus.net website, the Members Centre and some of my other suppliers online accounts. I can't now purchase a new contract.
Can anyone help?
Gary

@GaryWilliams What error message (if any) do you get when trying to access these sites? Sounds strange.

Hi Jab1,
here it is:
This site can’t be reached
The connection was reset.
Try:
- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall
- Running Windows Network Diagnostics

Try rebooting your Hub. Which one is it, by the way?

Hi John,
Yes, rebooted. It is the TP-LINK archer vr900. I have been using this on for years.
Cheers

Very strange, Gary. The reboot hasn't solved it? Can you PM me your public IP?

@GaryWilliams Cheers for that info via PM. Now you have disabled Nord, are you able to access the sites? Note that if you try to access some UK-only ones when using a VPN, you will get the response you started this topic with, as they restrict access to non-UK IP's. Depends where you tell the VPN to say you are accessing from, and where the request gets routed.

Hi John,
I use NordVPN daily. No problems until recently.
Thanks for your help
Gary

OK gary, but if you have disabled it at the moment, can you now access those previously inaccessible sites?

I managed to access the plusnet site having used system mechanic to optimise my internet settings, but all other troublesome sites are still inaccessable. If I log out of plusnet, I cant get back in unless I optimise the internet settings again.
It is all very erratic.
Cheers
Gary

no, but the threat protection is running in the background according to resource manager. I'm going to do some uninstalling.
Cheers
