Why would you not do as asked and reboot the router?

Hi @amxen the help desk readout you posted looks fine to me.
When testing are you using a wired connection plugged directly into the Hub One?
How many devices are there on you LAN, could one of them be downloading or streaming a large about of data all the time? Try disconnecting all the devices and just test on one wired device connected to the Hub One..
Are you using Homeplugs as these can give odd results.
Are there any other Plus Net users
@bobpullen it is a bit blurred but looking at the first speedtest I see IP Address, nslookup reports
Name: 183.86.125.91.dyn.plus.net
Address: 91.125.86.183
The strange thing is the second test reports, viewed in the middle of the video
Name: sandpash.plus.com
Address: 80.229.222.95
A fixed IP which is not this user ID
Bit odd!?

@Dan_the_Van - I applied a fixed IP to force the connection through our L2TP network. As mentioned, shot in the dark, and I wasn't hopeful it would help, but wanted to rule it out none-the-less.

Might be waiting a script run to refresh the rDNS given I only applied it yesterday.
Will likely remove it later anyway given that it doesn't seem to have helped.

The problem with moving providers is the fault can stay with you.
If you are wanting to stay with plusnet then I would raise a fault with them at https://faults.plus.net.
Regardless of how many visits you've had there is an issue that needs resolving, it could be a network related rather than to do with the connection.

@amxen - how exactly is your network configured? i.e. what devices are connected to the router, how are they connected and what, if any, other devices are on the network? Things like powerline plugs, additional access points etc. in particular?
Something just doesn't add up. If the VPN throughout is unaffected, then I agree that it is difficult to accept that there's a physical fault with the line

i was doing google searchs on what the problem could be and i came across a page that said some providers throtal your connection and a VPN would provent this. So i down loaded a free VPN this improved things a little so i thought i would try a paid one for a month and the deferance was instant. We have some earthnet extenders the kind plug into the wall, that take the earth net upstarts with out having to run a cable for my wifes laptop when working from home. and one in the living room for the PS4 again so i dont have to run a cable . we have wifi laptops 2 , 2 phones that will connect when they are in the house a kindle fire for our son. and my wifes latop that conects to the ethernet when she working from home. amd a nintendo switch. and the TV . but even with all these things turned off with just one leptop connected with a ethernet cable next to where the cable comes into the house its the same.

I've requested that somebody take a detailed look at your subscriber profile to see if anything is wrong with it behind the scenes but again, it's a shot in the dark. What I do have visibility of looks perfectly fine.
Rest assured, we're not intentionally throttling anything.
