@jab1  I was just pointing out that the line is being restricted by banding despite Plusnet saying it isn't. If there is a line noise problem that needs to be looked at first.

Initial line check has found no fault. I’ll have to wait now till tomorrow for the advisor call to take this further. Thanks everyone for assistance so far.

The autobot doesn't pick all faults up, but if there is noise on the line, there is definitely a fault - don't let them tell you otherwise.

Glad to say this seems to be fixed following the engineer visit this morning. Fault lay with the faceplate on the master socket. New pre-filtered faceplate fitted and line noise eliminated. Line reset and back to 44mb sync. Thanks to all for your advice.
