Engineer cut me off!

Was scheduled to get an upgrade to FTTP yesterday. Engineer cut my copper line, and began to install FTTP.

Except. we have a flashing PON light, which needs Openreach to resolve. Told at the time by the engineer they would respond within 24 hours.

Called Plusnet today to find out the Openreach Engineer is scheduled for the 21st July.

Greatly inconvenienced by this and will be out of pocket due additional expenses for mobile data and travel.

I've lodged a complaint with Plusnet, but seems unlikely to resolve my issues any sooner.

Any advice you can offer which might speed things up?

Hey @thetarpey, I'm sorry that the engineer couldn't get you active with your FTTP on the day. This sounds like a pain. They must have thought it was going to be straightforward if they'd cut your copper wire before. 

I can see you've emailed in and this has gone to our High-Level Escalation Team. This department is the highest and is above me. Someone in this team will be in touch within 48 working hours.
