Is Plusnet Broken today? i cannot find the service status page and our internet soooo sloooooow

Hiya,

been trying to figure out what's going on with out internet, i just speed tested using the https://speedtest.btwholesale.com/

normally we get 65/19 (the last 10 years been all good) today the max speed is 1.28/0. no matter what speed tester i use we have 0 upload, it took 12 mins to load the plusnet home page....

have rebooted our kit here with no effect, had to stick the hotspot on me phone to actually do something...

is there something going on? what's the best way to lodge a fault?

Cheers

Daz

First thing to check: Is your phoneline clear? Dial 17070 (preferably from a corded phone), select option 2. Once your phone number is confirmed, there should be silence on the line except for the regular 'Quiet Line Test' message - any other noise, report a PHONE problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/

If the phone test passes, report a broadband problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/

Let us know the result - if the tests come back as clear but you still have a problem, we need to investigate further.

The above assumes you still have 'normal' landline connection - if you have a SOGEA (internet only) one, just use the second link to report a network issue.

so i got this sorted in the end, my line needed a reset, not sur why been all good for years but it is sorted again now.

we dont have a home phone only the broadband.

(called plusnet in the end, as the fault reporter did not recognise my mobile)
