Yes i understand, my line is busy because i am doing broadband speed tests every 5 mins for documentation purposes only, i am conserned more about the RED dots on the top of my graph with 100% packet loss.

The bold bit - doing speed tests every five minutes is a little pointless, and still doesn't explain those great chunks of solid yellow - what else are you doing?

Re: Large Amount of Pact Loss, Internet Keeps dropping getting 4000ms!

Morning John.

I have turned off all the tracking infomation lastnight so i am not pinging or doing speed tests anymore, this feature was part of a plugin to ping google every 5s to get a graph of timeouts.

The graph still looks wonky from TBB.

@jab1  The TBB link given in the first post seems to be a live graph.

@Psycho_Shaft It appears you have a lot going on, traffic-wise, as @Mustrum mentioned previously - that will impact your performance.

@Psycho_Shaft  Long shot, do you use a USB stick connected to a TV to receive channels over the Internet ?

Sight of your DSL stats as requested in post #4 would be very informative, @Psycho_Shaft

Nope, i don't have any day time tv being streamed over the internet. only Netflix, Disney plus and Amazon Prime. we use youtube a lot in the day for Baby stuff tho.

Re: Large Amount of Pact Loss, Internet Keeps dropping getting 4000ms!

I am not sure if i understand the graphs correctly, looking at them Yellow spikes.. that suggests to me that TBB, is pinging my router and getting a late or slow reponse, it might not be packet loss as such but it does timeout my connection if playing video games. My general network activiy isn't that high dueing the day.. these issues only started happening after the engieer did line work.

I am requesting for Amplifi to check the logs on the router and will be back with some infomation

@Psycho_Shaft   Clearly you do not understand the BQM graph, so if you won't believe us, perhaps you could find the time to read their guide/faq.

You claim there is very little traffic during the day, but your chart says otherwise, and you refuse to do any simple checks or provide info requested.

Re: Large Amount of Pact Loss, Internet Keeps dropping getting 4000ms!

Fix

Believe you? when was i questioning that.. First of all, The Hub one request can't be provided as i not using a BT hubone router they are a pile of rubbish.

Second request ive been asked was to use the tool this tool: https://speedtest.btwholesale.com, which i ran and came back with no issues.. however this Tool is flawed for detecting intermittent issues.. (the test timing is not long enough to see and detect the problem.)

It seems to me everyone here doesn't have the abilitly to read the first post i made by asking me for hardware stats, which i still waiting for.. Amplifi hardware is all emcrpyted and can't be read for error checking so i have made a request via email for my logs to be checked for hardware faults, this is a request made by people on this post.. I am doing it even though i don't agree is the issue (2 other routers are doing the same thing).

Yeah there is traffic but its not that really resourceful, its just Team video conferences calls and youtube on dueing the day, its not at all demanding even for oldish hardware from a few years ago.

Its fine i am going to close this ticket from here, I have a engineer coming tomorrow who will resolve the issue no doubt.
