No Broadband

I reported no Broadband( constant orange router light) last Thursday evening via text ( advisor return call not possible as service finished at 20.00 but fault still logged) Advised Friday had “battery corrode “ so only needed external engineer to attend to sort: waited until yesterday (Tuesday) with no update. Rang customer service for update and told no battery corode found 🤷🏼‍♀️. Earliest internal engineer appointment to check router is next Friday!! Just to say I have no landline call ability and no phone signal at home which means I have to drive to make any sort of contact which is making life quite difficult at the mo which you can appreciate! Very disappointed with Plusnet which is a pity as the service has been so good up until now.

@lesleympotter If the initial check indicated a a battery contact fault, that should have been logged on your account - were you advised of this by phone or text? In either case, PN should be able to check their records.

I would contact them and ask them to recheck - a fault such as that does not just 'disappear'.

Thankyou, they ran check whilst I waited on phone, I’ll ask them to recheck, customer service agent felt situation “was strange” !🥴
