As I understand things house sockets can be used for VOIP on FTTP with a bit of work. You disconnect the incoming copper cable from the Master Socket. Unless soemone says differently then this won't work if the MS is still needed for the incoming line.
Brian
The OP's MIL cannot get FTTP - her only option, if staying with PN, is SoGEA.

In the case of SOGEA still using the Master Socket for incoming VDSL -
- mount a new phone extension socket and wall mounting box next to the existing Master Socket
- disconnect the extension wiring from the back of the Master Socket faceplate
- thread the loose extension cable end in to the new extension socket wall mounting box
- connect the extension wires to the IDC receptacles on the back of the extension socket faceplate
- refit both faceplates
- use a patch cable with BT431A plugs on both ends, to connect the VoIP ATA phone output to the new extension socket
- job done.

If you have an NTE5c & Mk4 faceplate , then its possible with some modifications to the faceplate https://support.aa.net.uk/VoIP_How_to:_Voice_reinjection
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi @stockfast
Are you still having connection issues? And if so, please can you private message us your account username so we can make arrangements for enhanced diagnostics to be implemented.
Thanks
