"several posters have clearly stated unlimited refers to data usage" - That would be apart from the ones who said it didn't?
This is definitely NOT "confusing". Honestly.🙄

@pvmb The only limitations are: you are limited to a potential maximum download speed of 40Mb/s (if your connection can support it) on 'Unlimited Fibre', or 80Mb/s (again, if your connection can support it) on 'Unlimited Fibre Extra'.

Thanks for everyone's detailed responses and additional info.
With this clarification, I'm confident enough to switch to the new package now without concern. Its funny how attached you become to your landline number after 30 years, but time to move on.
