Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting

Had this problem prior to joining Plusnet but nothing was done. Needing help please? I don’t know what to do? Has anyone had this?

To be clear, do you mean that your internet connection, or the WiFi from your router is the problem?
In other words, when you experience a problem with the WiFi, what colour are the lights on your Hub router?

Thanks for replying so soon. I’m not sure. It just seems like anytime anyone walks past the router it goes off etc. it’s very strange. It just goes orange. Then flashes and the broadband sign shows. Then after a few moments it goes back blue.

That sounds like it is your internet service that is disconnecting, with you "losing WiFi" as a consequence of this.
The fact that you have linked it with people walking past the router, suggests a dodgy connector or cable.
Is the RJ11 cable, (the one that connects the router to the telephone socket), fully locked home? the connector on each end has a locking tab, but these can snap off quite easily. If the cable is properly connected, then it may be faulty.
Also check that the power supply is properly pushed in to the mains socket and router - though I think that this is less likely to be the problem - given your description of the colours, it doesn't sound like your router is losing power and completely restarting?

Do you have a telephone plugged in to the Master phone socket - or one that you can connect temporarily? Any noise on the line?
Try a "Quiet Line Test" by dialling 17070 and selecting option 2 - there should be no noise at all.
Also do these tests whilst trying to replicate the problem.

I'm really sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with the connection. I've had a look at the account this morning and I can see that the connection has stabilized since the weekend - how have things been on your end?
