Re: Introduction

You might not be the Luke that I used to know but great to meet you anyway - although every time I see your surname I think of Matt, no idea why  Crazy

5. Computer OS preference?
I've used most of them (Linux variations, MAC OS and Windows 3.1 upwards) and I genuinely believe that Windows 8 is a triumph Cheesy

I still think Acorn Computer's RISCOS is the best OS there has ever been, and Computer Concept's Impression Publisher for Risc OS is the best wordprocessing & desktop publishing program.  RIP Acorn.  Cry

Hear Hear Snozboz.  I wish MS can learn and implement many good ideas from Acorn.  Pity UK's community didn't support Acorn.  Angry

Re: Introduction

It was about 20 years ago. I can remember using an Acorn, I'm not sure why we still had them, but I can't be sure of the operating system. Tongue

Use the force Luke (or cricket bat as Adam W calls it).

In my day it was called the Attitude Adjuster or on nights the " put that ******* customer to sleep" tool and it usually lived near Annette's desk.
Note to Mods, I didn't use a swear word and i'm not trying to evade the filter. I just did stars.

It'll be some version of RISC OS.
Which also runs on the Raspberry Pi.
Which is what the forums are hosted on.  Cool
