Years ago I had a Plusnet Community account with my email address, gavin@wra1th.plus.com as my username. Then the rules changed and this became an illegal username. But when I tried to create a new account for myself, as GCW, the system would not let me, saying that an account with my email address already existed. So please can you delete all accounts having my email address except for GCW? I created this account, for GCW, with a different email address. Thanks.

Several years ago I came across the same problem on a different forum.  My workaround was to change the email address for the account with the username I wanted to drop.

Thanks. In effect that is what I did. I used a gmail address that redirects to my permanent email address.

You should be able to update your email address now to your original email on the @GCW username account.

Would you mind deleting my account please. I haven't been a customer for years and I want my username to stop popping up in search results. Thanks.
