Could VoIP either stay on "Home Phone" or get its own button?

Re: Could VoIP either stay on "Home Phone" or get its own button?

@Townman said "Currently VoIP as a technology journey as a consequence of Plusnet’s exit from voice services, is of key concern to many. As a community we could make that easier by having all discussions in a clearly signposted area."

I toally agree, we see the same (or very similar) questions being asked again and again and inevitably the same (or very similar) replies from helpful regulars. It's definitely a "hot topic" and PlusNet are doing little if anything to offer any a guidance.

A dedicated section with a  few "sticky" guides/summaries at the start would be most helpful. Questioners could be pointed to a collection of "stock answers" that would probably suffice for most.

+1 here for a specific Voip board

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Totally agree with the need for a VOIP board
Could a superuser @MisterW raise this with the business?
You can check out but you can never leave ( easily)

The topic of voip and number porting has already been raised with the business. I've added the possibility of a new board into that discussion

Plusnet has no interest in VoIP -> so no need for a forum for it.

Plusnet customers who want to continue a landline phone service do have an interest in VoIP -> so there is a need for a forum for it.
