I am again encountering read posts remaining unread. This includes posts I have just made**, which IIRC have never before reported as unread.
One which immediately comes to mind is in the SU board asking for a change for the social team privileges in the photos topic.
**Edit - Thinking about this, the only time I recall posts which I make which results in them being marked unread are items I post via the act of using the SU escalation function.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I've had this where posts I've split or merged will sometimes not be marked as read until I mark all posts as read. It's not reproducible and infrequent,

I see it regularly. Nothing clever - go to board - read an unread post - back to board - still showing the post as unread.
