Re: Forum threw its toys out of the pram!

UPDATE: This is a permissions issue...

  1. Accessing the topic from the forum board list using the title link gives
    An Unexpected Error has occurred.
Your request failed. Please contact your system administrator and provide the date and time you received the error and this Exception ID: 3A7D8C62.
Click your browser's Back button to continue.
  2.  (Now) the topic runs over two pages clicking the page 1 link gives the same error
  3. Clicking page 2 DISPLAYS page two of the topic
  4. Clicking page 1 from the top / bottom bread crumbs gives the same error

Somewhere along my pre-documenting this poking around, I saw an error message of the ilk that I do not have permission to view the parent of this item - right now I cannot reproduce it.

Re: Forum threw its toys out of the pram!

I did move it around a bit to see if that helped - it could have been caught up in that

Fix

Think I know what the problem is, trying to see if I can fix it.

EDIT: Now fixed.

Re: Forum threw its toys out of the pram!

Fixed - thank you.

What magic did you apply?

If this was some odd permission issue, then can someone please have Lithium determine why the forum did not gracefully manage the condition?

Re: Forum threw its toys out of the pram!

It was odd.. the OP had marked the thread as fixed but that message ended up in the spam filter.
That's what caused the issue, releasing it (and the other 6 identical messages) resolved the error.
Accounts with permissions to view the spam filter weren't adversely impacted.

I only twigged because I could see it was marked as fixed but not the fix itself.
