Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

Please would you unarchive the mailbox recorded in my community profile? By the way,  I have been attempting to delete emails, but found the delete request did not work most of the time - do you have any tips for deleting emails to clear the mailbox?

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

Thanks a lot for reaching out @togbox

I've just raised a task with our Technical Support Team to have the mailbox unarchived. Are you having these issues on webmail or on a third party client?

I've just raised a task for you @TallPaul123

Our NetOps Team should soon be picking this up. Might not be until after the weekend though. Please have a look through the emails we've been sending you for tips on how to remain below the storage limit. Smiley

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

Hi,

Please could I request the emails for preschoolkids@preschoolkids.plus.com to be unarchived?

I will immediately reduce our inbox folder once they have been unarchived.

Many thanks for your help.

Rachel

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

Thanks for your help @adam95. When I use the webmail client, it often times out with a fetch error, so I'm unable to see the list of emails. I was using Thunderbird to manage my email and found that 'deleted' email would re-appear, as if the delete request had not been actioned on the server. I'd appreciate any advice.

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

Hi @togbox, thanks for getting in touch and I'm sorry to hear you're having issues when trying to manage your emails recently. If you've deleted all your emails on the client you're using and they've been replaced shortly after then it hints that your may have the email client up set as a IMAP account. IMAP being where your client will only copy what's showing on the mail server so if you deleted the emails client side then IMAP settings could be putting them back there from the server side.
The alternative and potential solution to this is setting up your email client as a POP3 account. This way your email client will pull al the emails from the service side and deleting them there after doing so. This means your emails will be stored on your device more locally but also if you delete them they'll be removed saving space towards the 1Gb mailbox size.

Steps on how to re-set up your email client with POP3 settings can be seen here:

Let us know how it goes.

Re: Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

Hi, is this the same process to get my custom folders back from... wherever you've moved them? The folder structure of my webmail has reset to default for no clear reason (certainly shouldn't be down to file size or lack of access for 90 days, as all my latest employment details have been put into this folder structure, and I am stilll at less than 90 days in the role) and in the process has taken some extremely important emails out of my reach.

The folder structure is still present on my phone email app but the custom folders are all empty, so I definitely haven't manually deletedd these from my browser: They just suddenly weren't therre any more. I really need these restoring. I've done nothing to remove them, and will be in a serious fix if I can't get the contents back.

thanks, best regards,

Doug
