Archived mailbox? Request for it to be unarchived here!

I got a few emails about the mailboxes being nearly full but when I tried to log in to webmail it timed out. The last time I did this all the mail disappeared. The mailbox in question is my wife’s and has some stuff she needs.

I didn't take any action regarding old messages. I didn't receive a message warning me to take any action to my knowledge. They were always just there. And now when I really need access to them I can't. There are 2 messages which are vital and I'm really fretting. Please do wht you can.

I am sorry that you're unable to locate these emails and can understand the importance of you needing these. If these emails are from 2017 and were previously archived, we would have notified of this and you'd have a period of time to get in touch for us to request the unarchive. If you haven't received this notice, they won't have been archived from our side. 

Can you please advise when you are aware these emails were last accessible?

Hiya @Simonjolley, thanks for getting back to us. I've had a check and the mail hasn't yet been archived.

If having issues accessing the mail via webmail, it may be worth setting this up on a client to see if the mail comes through that way. If unsure on how to do this, you can find help with this here:  https://www.plus.net/help/email-guides/how-to-set-up-plusnet-email/

Thanks for responding Lauren. I have no clue, it's going to be months ago. I don't generally access old messages but do try to delete junk. I don't recall any warning message from Plusnet otherwise I'm sure that i would have taken steps to secure what I needed. What I really, really need are messages from early Feb 2017.

Please can you restore my emai.  It all disappeared last Friday am and I only have emails since then.

Hi @routem4, when you use the email service, are you accessing the platform via the webmail portal, or do you have the mailbox setup on a mail client?

I have been attempting to raise a request through the plusnet telephone support desk to get my email unarchived after it exceeded 1GB, but to no avail. I was notified on 11th November that the email had been archived for 30 days and then would be deleted. I have cleared as much out as possible and should now be below the 1GB limit, and have made 3 calls to plusnet to try to get this resolved and I fear that my mailboxes will be deleted soon. The mailboxes in question begin with Maildir-ma** and the other is Remaining Mail.

Please help.

Hi.  No it would be via outlook and it’s all emails under both Colin and Lorayne.  Thx
