We seem to have lost all emails and folders before yesterday PM, didn’t see a message saying we were ‘over full’ but it’s possible that we were!
Can search for old emails and it says “not downloaded from server”
If they have been archived can they be undone please and we will get to deleting?
If not could you point me in the direction of help to fix?
Any further info required please ask

Thanks for this, however my emails have still not be unarchived and they will be deleted shortly if nothing is done. Plusnet have been great, I have used them for over 15 years, but the lack of any action makes me question if the reason I have always kept with Plusnet - its great customer service - is now no longer a differentiator.

Hiya @routem4, thanks for confirming.
If we haven't archived the mail (and we aren't seeing any notices over the last few months to suggest we have), there's not much we can do and given the mail is from 2017, it's quite unlikely our team will be able to get a snapshot of this mail.
Do you have the mail set up on any mail clients at all on any other devices? What are the oldest emails you are seeing in your inbox? Do you have any older ones you have kept which are still there?

Hi Lauren,
Thanks for chasing this for me although I am getting more concerned by the day.
I only access webmail on my laptop. I use the Plusnet webmail portal every time and accept cookies.
Everything before 06/06/2018 has disappeared.
I have nothing before that.

The reason @LaurenB was asking is because had you set up your emails via a third party client on POP3, the contents of your inbox may have been downloaded to any device that you have set up a mail client on.
As we've said, there aren't any notifications on the account stating any emails have been archived. IF they've been deleted, we'll also be unable to restore them as our support team can only restore emails from a snapshot of 7 days, which overrides itself eery week.

Any news, nothing is back to where it was. My email looks like it only stated last Friday morning. How long does it take?

@TheMightyAJ. Do you know what is happening to the request you have raised. As you know from my previous post, I have tried to raise a request through the plusnet telephone support desk and on this forum to get my email unarchived after it exceeded 1GB, but to no avail. I was notified on 11th November that the email had been archived for 30 days and then would be deleted. I have cleared as much out as possible and should now be below the 1GB limit, and have made 3 calls to plusnet to try to get this resolved and I fear that my mailboxes will be deleted soon. The mailboxes in question begin with Maildir-ma** and the other is Remaining Mail.
The service from Plusnet on this has been very poor, and I say that from someone who has been with plusnet for 15 years and have always rated their customer service. If nothing is done today then I will be raising a formal complaint, as I feel I have no options left.

As customers, we are entitled to believe that you are holding our data in a safe and secure manner. My data has disappeared. If you are telling me that it has been archived without notification but that you are unable to find it, I would like to know WHY? If it has been deleted I would like to know WHY? If you are saying that it may have been downloaded to another location that I am unaware of, I would like to know WHERE? If you are going to tell me that you do not hold customer data securely then that is a major issue. Kindly tell me precisely what has happened to my data so that I can persue this further.
