@louiseandben, from what I can see we only archived one mailbox and we've unarchived that on the 20.05.22.
@em_el, could you private message me the email you've received which confirms we've archived your mailbox?
I'll then raise a NetOps task for you to restore. Depending on when you have received the email though, we may not have them still as we'd only keep archived emails for a certain length of time, so PM me as soon as you can.

No can do now - I clear out that email... if its not recoverable, worry not it's a trash mailbox anyway.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Shocked to find all of my IMAP folders and emails within are missing today. Can you please arrange these to be unarchived for me, then I can clean up assuming that I went over there 1GB limit?

All my emails were deleted on Wednesday 1st June 2pm. I didn't receive any warnings that my mailbox were full but apparently that was the reason. I was told that they could restore my emails within 48-72 hours. It is now 4th June and I am being told that the back office people only work Monday to Friday, there is no cover for weekends or Bank Holidays.
They will probably look at it on Monday. Is there any way that I can get my emails back sooner? This is such terrible service from Plusnet

@acsmaple I would doubt that you didn't receive any warnings - they are auto-generated by the mail system, and sent to your default mailbox.
Unfortunately, it is true that the back-office staff only work M-F and nothing will happen until Monday.

If I had received any email warnings I would have dealt with it immediately. But lesson learned, after all these years of being with Plusnet, time to look for a better provider.

@acsmaple Have you checked your default mailbox? -IF it is due to over-capacity, you will have received warnings at 75% and (IIRC) three further notifications at weekly intervals. How often do you check your emails?

My emails come through on my watch, phone and of course computer. I check my emails constantly as I am self employed and I can promise you that I have never received any warnings. I only have one email address.

Ah, so you use the IMAP service, which is limited to 1GB as is webmail. If you only have the one email address, I still think you would have received the warnings - to that address, providing it is set as your default address, but if you are certain you haven't this will need staff input, hopefully on Monday when the Help Team are back online.

Email quota warnings work like this...
- Once email storage utilisation reaches 75% warning notices will be sent once per week whilst the 75% threshold is exceeded
- Having reached 100% utilisation an email warning that the mail store will be archived if no action is taken is sent
- If ignored, two further warnings are sent at weekly intervals
- A week after the third warning the mailbox is archived with no further notification
- Emails are send to the postmaster@ mailbox and the mail box identified on the account settings
- FUP warning emails are recorded in the ticketing system and state explicitly when they were sent - see the link below to access old tickets
When users claim that emails were never sent, invariably it is later identified that they no longer look at the email address they originally used when setting up their Plusnet account or that which is recorded on the account settings - see Manage account | Member Centre | Plusnet
In other cases, it transpires that aggressive spam filtering is active and the warning emails have been consigned to the junk folder or were blocked from being received.
There is nothing wrong with the system here. Many people receive regular usage warnings - I get them most weeks - I can imagine that at sometime or another, some people have flagged them as spam ... rather than dealing with them!
