Deleting emails from folders

Been attempting to delete old emails saved in folders

start at settings, then folders, click folder , then information, then click to get size ,all okay

i may be lucky and get the next folder to open but usually everything freezes then , have to click mail

and start all over again , on top of that i have to work around an error signal every time i click something

RED box Connection Error failed to reach server

I only use plusnet webmail     is the above normal

Re: Deleting emails from folders

It's very temperamental but there is SOMETIMES a fix for the error message at least:

Log into webmail
On the inbox list screen select LIST OPTIONS which is the little grid icon on the left of the column title bar
Set sorting column to NONE
Click save

If this post resolved your issue please click the 'This fixed my problem' button

Re: Deleting emails from folders

There is an issue with the Roundcube production Ct when navigating the mail management menus such as exploring folders. No more than 3 clicks in the folder navigation screens will function, after which you need to do a page refresh

The product has been like that forever and (AFAIK) has nothing to do with the RANDOM connection issues to the IMAP server.

If your primary aim is to cull emails, you might find the basic (Squirrel) email client more productive.
