Evolution email on Ubuntu receiving issue

When I open my email (Evolution) it fetches my email as normal, but I get the following warning message in the header ' Can not get message UID65539-152644925 unknown reason'. This fix for this is way beyond my capability and I could find nothing from my searches of this forum. Can anyone please point me in the correct direction to get it fixed?

@vbiker Welcome to the forums. Ubuntu is still a 'niche' OS in many ways. To be honest, you would be better off asking this question on the Ubuntu forums.

Thank you, I followed the link you gave and used terminal to run the command for POP3. Later I will try to find out how to access the logfile and how to understand it.

Post the relevant bit of the log file if you need help. Although I use ubuntu , I don't use evolution but I'll try and help interpret the log file if I can
