Outlook for Mac no longer collecting emails via IMAP

Hi.
Is anybody else having problems getting email from imap.force9.net on a macbook (monterey 12.6) using Outlook for Mac client? Sending email via relay is working fine. Configured IMAP using port 993 with SSL. This used to work OK, but no longer. Still showing emails to 25th October, but nothing after that. No configuration errors with outlook client happy!
IMAP collection on Android Phone and iPad via Outlook clients both fine and showing emails from today.
Any help appreciated.

Also, configured a Spark email client on the same MacBook and that works fine.

Also used the same Outlook for Mac client to connect to a non PlusNet provided office365 mail server and that worked fine too.

Do you see an error status?
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

No unfortunately not. The email configuration of outlook shows no errors and looks fine. It just doesn't appear to do anything when you sync to see new emails. There are no POP clients running anywhere else that are silently hoovering them. I've configured SPARK email client using the same server/port details and that works as expected.
Wondering if it's anything to do with Microsoft's recent changes wrt deprecated basic authorisation?
