Password Change

Apologies for a dumb question. I want to change the password for my basic webmail account. I don;t have any other Plusnet accounts. It;s been a while since I last changed my password and I've forgotten where I need to go to do it. When I log into my email account, and look at settings, I can't see anything about password settings.Could someone advise the steps I need to take please? Thanks!

Re: Password Change

@AlanH2  if its the primary email account i.e you login to webmail using just your accountname, then the password is your main account password. So to change it you login to the member centre www.plus.net and use the Change password in the 'Manage account' section. Note that the same password applies to the broadband connection , email and the member centre. If you have a Plusnet supplied router, it will update the broadband password automatically, if you have your own router you will need to update the password manually.

If its a secondary email address i.e <mailboxname>@<accountname>.plus.com then it has its own password, separate from the main account one, and you update it using the 'Manage my mail' section in the member centre

Re: Password Change

Thanks. I only have an email account,(not broadband or phone) so I guess that makes it a 'primary' email account. When I click on the link you gave, it takes me to the main Plusnet website but I can't see where then to login to the Member Centre to access the 'Manage account' section.

Re: Password Change

Thanks. I have spoken with Plusnet on the phone now and have resolved it. They had some out of date information about my account that was causing the issue. All done now. Thanks again for your help.
