Hi All, I have a totalise email along with two email accounts from my webspace, for some reason I'm unable to send emails, this happens often, It may last for a few days or weeks, I then contact PlusNet Customer services, and each time I go though the same story, please change this setting or this setting, I following all instructions and it makes no difference, the strange thing is once I contact them, they say nothing can be done, then by magic I am able to send emails again, but it only lasts for a short time, then the issue returns, and plusnet have no record of my call problem.
I have also been told by plusnet staff, they will be closing all legacy accounts, including the webspace!!!
This is my business email and website, they should not be allowed to do this, but if so then they should be offering assistance to move to a different service???????

I have also been told by plusnet staff, they will be closing all legacy accounts, including the webspace!!!
Presumably this is first-line agents, who have a history of rumour-mongering?

Thanks for your reply, I really don't understand why they can't say that they will be closing these services and then offer choices to transfer to for a price???

So, are you saying that they offered to transfer you to BT (o EE)?

No, I'm saying if they intend to close their service, then they should offer a choice and or give advice on how to move to a new service.

Which 'service' are you referring to? Most mainstream ISPs no longer offer webspace or email these days.

I'm referring to any service they can offer, I'm clear that if they intend to close our service then they should offer a different package or different provider, and offer help to transfer to the same.

As I alluded in an earlier reply, first-line support are just that - support for current PN services - they have no training to offer the help you are referring to, and should not be making wild claims about any closure of those current services.
