For what it’s worth it seemed to work as per normal yesterday and I didn’t do anything to it.
What’s odd is that when it happened on Sunday I haven’t used the laptop for many days so I’m not sure why I couldn’t connect given that they reset the VPN daily.
Maybe for now I will monitor daily - if it happens again I will definitely ask to switch to a different static IP or maybe even move to a different network

When you close the VPN session do you just click X or do you click on disconnect first?
A disconnect should close the VPN session gracefully where just X'ing out may leave the connection is an open state.
If the connection is in an open state on your current IP then VPN server may not allow a second connection.
Just a thought!
Dan.

Thanks all for your input. Today day 2 connection still ok.
Good point Dan re disconnection. I normally just turn the computer off. Perhaps I should turn off the AoVPN first from now on.
