Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

Hi,

My domain is due for renewal (29/10/2024) - previously a superuser has helped but I've been advised to place a topic here this year.

Cheers

Jon

Re: Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

I can't use that link as it asks me to log into a Broadband account - which I don't have.  I only have access to the Email through this link https://webmail.plus.net

@Sylphlord you must have a PLusnet account, even if its an email only account.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

@willcutforth Hi, yes I can log into my email via this portal - https://webmail.plus.net/  and I have replied to the email I received - back to support@madasafish.com.

This is the same process I did last year against this ticket "237834263 "

Perhaps if a new email is sent reply it may work?

Re: Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

Hi @Sylphlord

We automatically renew domains closer to their expiry date so yours should be renewed at some point next week

After the 3rd of November I will have a limited presence here as I have moved to a new role

Re: Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

@MatthewWheeler  Thank you, just in the past I have had to ask a couple of times after the certificate had expired, so thought I would pre-empt it this year.  Will wait until nearer the expiry date and check again.

Cheers Jon

Re: Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

@MatthewWheeler / @willcutforth

Hi, I notice that the domain is still reporting as Expiring on the 29/10 on the Nominet site.  Will this be renewed before it expires next Tuesday?

Cheers - Jon

Re: Domain Name Renewal - Freenetname / Madasafish

Hi @Sylphlord . Sorry for the delay in replying. Domains do normally auto-renew close to expiry. Could you please confirm if this has taken place since you posted your last message?

Fix

Hi @MikeSt, Unfortunately it is still being reported as due to expire tomorrow according to the Nominet site.
