From post by computer consultancy on another forum: "Openreach strike action is taking place on Thursday 6th, Monday 10th, Thursday 20th and Monday 24th of October.
"BT/Openreach is essential underlay for several products we provide such as line & broadband and VoIP services. The impact will affect both scheduled installation work and repair services with the possibility of residual impact thereafter whilst any backlogs are recovered."
This will impact everyone waiting for installation or repairs, and we can expect a lengthy tailback as well. Bad news especially for those working from home ...
