@DaisyW Wi-Fi speeds are totally unpredictable and can vary, as you have found out. To test your actual speeds you must use a direct ethernet connection to your router.

@DaisyW How old is the machine displaying these low figures? It could be that the NIC isn't capable of handling the higher speeds.

If all kit is that new, I would expect it to be capable of handling the higher speeds, but as I'm still on FTTC, I haven't been able, or had the need, to really look at what FTTP is supposed to be able to do.
There are some Community members who have more knowledge/experience, but it depends if they look at this topic.

You'll struggle to get more than 400Mb wireless UNLESS both client and router are Wifi 6 devices. The PN Hub 2 is only Wifi 5 and therefore ~400Mb is about the best you can get wireless. Also as @RealAleMadrid says wifi speeds can be seriously affected by external factors such as adjacent wifi networks. Wifi performance can often be improved by scanning for adjacent wifi networks using a Wifi analyzer app and manually changing your router wireless channel to one that has least interference from adjacent networks.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
