Re: Unable to access one website

@markcaldwell83 - I changed everything over to Cloudflare at around 9am Monday morning. At 3pm the BT / Plusnet DNS servers were still not resolving my website. All other DNS servers had propagated and were resolving fine. I think it was around 5pm the BT / Plusnet DNS servers starting working. I know it had been escalated and was being looked into, so I'm not sure if they resolved it or swapping to Cloudflare fixed it. If I was to guess, I'd say someone fixed the issue and swapping to Cloudflare made no difference. I'd already swapped the nameservers (on same host) before without any joy.

@Starlink666  I'm using Plusnet's DNS servers, your site is not available....

Re: Unable to access one website

@Champnet Strange. It's working for me and everyone I asked to test it who couldn't access it before. Which DNS sever are you using exactly?

Re: Unable to access one website

@Starlink666  Strange - Plusnet  & BT ( 62.6.40.178 & 62.6.4.162 ) both fail

Cloudflare, OpenDns & Google are OK. Will have a closer look....

Re: Unable to access one website

@Starlink666

Plusnet safeguard (213.120.234.38 & 231.120.234.42), Zen (212.23.8.1 & 212.23.3.1) also fail

Dyn, Norton & Yandex are OK.

Re: Unable to access one website

@Champnet Using Zens servers - on Zen, works for me.

Re: Unable to access one website

Thanks @jab1  I’m now on a second device and seeing exactly the same problems, including Zen.
@Starlink666  Illogical, probably best to ignore my posts unless someone else has similar problem….

Re: Unable to access one website

@Champnet

Unless the ZEN DNS servers are public facing I doubt they will resolve anything, for me using one of the IP addresses you quoted

for debian
nslookup www.bbc.co.uk 212.23.3.1
Server:         212.23.3.1
Address:        212.23.3.1#53
** server can't find www.bbc.co.uk: REFUSED
For windows
nslookup www.bbc.co.uk 212.23.3.1
Server:  ns1.zen.co.uk
Address:  212.23.3.1
*** ns1.zen.co.uk can't find www.bbc.co.uk: Query refused

For plusnet DNS www.perrydogfield.com resolves; www.pkbstatus.com does not.

Re: Unable to access one website

@Dan_the_Van I don't know which of the Zen servers I'm using at the moment, but both those sites resolve for me,

Re: Unable to access one website

@jab1

Well they would do as you're on a ZEN network; there appears to a problem with "BT group" DNS which prevents pknstatus from being resolved

Re: Unable to access one website

Hey guys, any other suggestions on what I should do, it's great I have a workaround to access https://www.pkbstatus.com/ but still seems strange that it just stopped working out of the blue.

Any advice again would be greatly appreciated
