How is ONT BOX attached inside the house?

After about a month my install is finally complete and I’m activated after switching from FTC. However own thing that concerns me is how these boxes are attached internally in the house. I’ve just plugged in my lan cable to the bottom of the ONT and the box literally moves in my hand, like a lot as I hold the top of it whilst plugging in. It’s almost as if it’s only attached internally by magnets it’s so poor. I half expected the box to fall off the wall. Surely this isn’t normal?!

@walterwhite Sounds like the installer didn't do the job properly. The ONT (or at least the version I have) is secured by two longish screws and is rock-solid. My suggestion is you report this to PN as a faulty install.

That's a hard approach to nipping up the two screws - see https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/remove-openreach-ont-from-wall.18968872/post-36254634

Cheers @Townman . I didn't see him fitting the ONT (needed a coffee) but that all makes sense.
