1571 problem

For a long while my dial tone tells me I have messages on 1571, with constant intermittent beeping When I dial up it tells me I have NO new messages then abruptly cuts me off . How so I stop this please

I have seen something similar recently with another customer. Have you tried another handset?

Thankyou for your reply. I have two home phones so yes . I've tried afsin this morning , it's still beep beep beeping , yet again I'm told I have no new messages .

I'd feel like throwing them out the window if I was you. I have raised it up to the engineers now for you and I will keep an eye on it for you. It's usually fixed within 72 hours.

 

Do you need anything else in the meantime?

That's really kind of you thankyou . TBH it's been an ongoing problem for weeks I kept trying to delete it but 1571 kept cutting me off abruptly .

Hello again . I dialled 1571 just now and a message tells me my number is withheld and tells me to fill 1470 to release my phone for 1 call only . The original issue has been fixed but I don't know why my number is now withheld. Can you sort it for me please . Thankyou

Hey @susanm, I've got this raised with the Suppliers to look into this as we can't see anything on our side which would be doing this. I should get an update in 24 hours.
