I have Call Barring active. When I try to use it, I hear the message 'use of network services is barred' Any suggestions?

I may be missing something but thats the point off "call barring"?
If you want to make calls deactivate it.

You have missed the point. I cannot set it or check it.

The point must have been in invisible type then.
Ok, no idea. You will need one of the support to check your settings I guess.

Hi @JHA1E what happens when you dial 1572? If that's not working at all it would be best if we can try removing that service and re-adding it for you.
If you're OK with us doing that I just need to get you to add a comment to the ticket I've popped on your account here: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=234181451

1572 is for Call Protect. The OP's query appears to be regarding Call Barring.

That might be a reasonable test to see if any service management code can be entered.
Reading here - All about Call Barring | BT Help - there is a suggestion that using *345# ... will inhibit the use of service management codes ... but also infers that you can still cancel that baring (if you know your PIN).
