@dawson '5C' is the socket version, 'Mark 4' is the faceplate, with separate VDSL and phone connections - sorry I wasn't clearer.

Very strange - if they fit a 5C smaster socket, the Mk.4 faceplate usually 'comes with it'.

If there's no wired extensions, then there's no need for a Mk4 faceplate apart from maybe it looks neater. In fact given the poor quality of connectors on the MK4, its probably better without
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

OK @MisterW - although I never had any issue with my Mk.4.

Do you still have a "rat-tail" filter acting as an adapter or a direct BT-RJ11 cable?
(I went one stage simpler/tidier and have a RJ11 cable that is terminated behind the faceplate on the sockets provided, so just exits from the bottom edge through one of the slots there)
