American date format on contract

Just renewed my contract for 18 months and in the confirmation Emails I got it says ...

Your new contract

This will take effect from 08/04/22.

I assume an American has started sending out your correspondence.

Well, actually, I don't mind if it's back dated to April, as it's cheaper!

Re: American date format on contract

Unfortunately we haven't invented time travel quite yet, so it looks like we're imagining we're away in America.

(On a serious note, thanks for the heads up!)

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: American date format on contract

Why do we not display dates, like all other measures, with the most significant unit first? If one annotates file names with a date prefix and wishes to see them displayed in chronological order then one needs to use yyyy/mm/dd and for extended accuracy, hh:mm:ss can be added.
