Cancel phone line but keep email

I'm assuming I can cancel my phone line (that is not handled by PlusNet) and keep my broadband account running to allow me to access the email?
Or is there a cheaper 'email only' account I can have to continue to access the emails?

You can't have an ADSL or FTTC service without paying for the landline. Your best option is to transfer your phone to Plusnet and take out a contract. Ring the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632.

I don't want ADSL or FTTC contract. I just want to access my email.
I understand that some ISPs allow you to access you email if you move to a new provider. Does PlusNet provide that service?

Email only accounts
When your account is cancelled, any additional services you have such as email, web-space, cgi-service, etc. will stop working. If you have any of the following features on your Plusnet account, you should plan to migrate them elsewhere BEFORE migrating your broadband service to another provider.
- Domain name
- Web hosting
- cgi hosting
There is no option to switch a closed account, to email only.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
