Cashback declined

I joined PlusNet as they were offering £55 cashback and a decent price through Quidco. The cashback has been declined, saying "Quidco has not been recognised as the referrer for this purchase." I find this so frustrating, as I went through the Quidco process as per normal. PlusNet have done this with other people I know. PlusNet, I would like the cashback I am due.

Did you clear Cookies for Plusnet before making the purchase? Frequently not doing so can mess up the referral link.

 

Hopefully a member of staff can shed more light on this.

Thank you for reaching out over the forums, hope you're doing ok today Smiley 

 

I've been checking over your account and I'm not able to see a reward deal included within your original offer. If you do have a screenshot of the final basket before or after checking out that shows that the cashback is included, can you please send this across. 

 

There could be a few reasons as to why the cashback offer wasn't included: 

 

- Cookies and caches wasn't cleared. This must be done before going ahead with the deal, if not then it will take you to an alternative deal. 

 

- A VPN was being used whilst taking out the offer.

 

- Private browsing was being used whilst taking out the offer.

 

- The wrong deal was chosen at checkout. 

 

As one of the above reasons is why the reward deal may not have gone through, I wouldn't be able to put this through for you today.

I also have a problem with a reward card that was not sent when I joined Plusnet. I was first promised a £70 adjustment to my account which didn’t happen and subsequently two cheques in the post which haven’t happened either. This morning I have been promised another cheque. I would like to see a settlement of this issue.
