Cease of service

I requested a cease of service just over two weeks ago and haven't had any notification or confirmation besides the original email/question raised on my account. There is nothing on my account to suggest that my service will be ending. Does anyone know how long it takes for service to cease and if you receive any notification of this being done? Thanks.
