Early Termination Fee

My contract runs until 17th November 2023, if I were to cancel today what would be the early termination fee?

Current monthly charge is £28.59.

Re: Early Termination Fee

Very roughly 3 x times your monthly payment, although I understand the ETC's are detailed in your contract. I may be wrong, as I am no longer a PN customer, so can't confirm, but that is my understanding.

If you want it confirming, call Plusnet.

Re: Early Termination Fee

As @jab1 suggested, it is normally all of the money owing until the end of your existing contract, less a couple of per cent or so for early payment.

Re: Early Termination Fee

I'd call Plusnet, if I had access to a landline.

Could someone from Plusnet email the charges to me?

Re: Early Termination Fee

Do you not have a mobile? PN Help Team are few and far between on here, and I suspect they would direct you to Customer Support anyway.

Re: Early Termination Fee

I'm 80 years old, got no time for these new fangled electronics, hence no telephone instrument or mobile, just contact with my ipad (family only) and email.

Re: Early Termination Fee

OK - BUT 'got no time for these new fangled electronics', and yet you use an iPad? Landline telephones have been around for very much longer.

@Overthehill

Obviously it is your choice not to have either a landline or mobile phone, but just out of interest, what is your plan if you needed to call an ambulance or the fire brigade for example?

Are they as responsive to emails and Twitter as they are to a 999 call?

Re: Early Termination Fee

Inherited the ipad 2 from my son otherwise would not have bothered.😕

I have now raised an online ticket

@Overthehill I'm intrigued how you managed that, I thought the ability to raise a ticket for anything other than a complaint had long since been removed ?
