Offers and Upgrades

When you login, there is an offers and upgrades tab. Whenever I look at this, I'm only ever offered offer's of lesser broadband and never a new offer for my current speed.

Is it possible to get offers of a re contract to get a better price or will it always just show a lesser speed offer on this tab?

The speeds will be what your line can do. The minimum guaranteed speed might be lower due to various factors - typically increased cross talk as more users move to FTTC.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

That's it true. We're on the better fibre speed of 68mb or something. However on my account, whenever I click offers and upgrades, it only ever offers me a new price and contract for the lower speed, never the same speed

Thanks a lot for getting in touch, there's no clear explanation for this one to be honest, as different deals are offered at different times, so you might well, at some point, come across a deal which keeps you on the same broadband product. 

We wouldn't offer the same product at a higher price either, so it might well be that we can't offer anything better than the deal you're currently on. I'd hang fire until the last 30 days of your contract though, where you'll receive an End of Contract Notification which will have our best available price for you. Smiley

New customers are paying less per month and on a lesser duration of contract too - so I'm currently paying more.
