Overcharged after contract renewal

I renewed my contract on the 6th Aug but £47.27 was taken from my account on the 12th Aug instead of the £28.99 renewed contract price. You'd think a week was long enough for someone to notice.

Edit: Contract end is 23rd August.

The PN computer strikes again! It often charges full end-of-contract price even though said contract has been renewed. Hopefully the additional amount will be refunded with next month's payment but if you  need the money urgently, as some do, then give the long-suffering staff a ring, they're well used to this.

Thanks for the reply, Searching through here after your comment shows there's a historical and persistent overcharging issue. I'll wait to see if they rectify it, I've opened up an Ofcom monitoring report as they are clearly not taking customer billing seriously enough to rectify the problem.

I'm sorry for the confusion on the bill and for any stress this is causing you. 

 

I tried to call you today but there was no answer, and I'm sorry if this was at a bad time.
