Overpaid compensation?

Having had a couple of months delay in getting Full Fibre installed, I got an email yesterday advising that I was dues a credit of £366. Only, I got three copies of the email, each about an hour apart. When I checked my account later, it looks like I've been credited £1100. Since the automatic compensation is £6.10 per day of delay according to the OFCOM website and I know that I didn't have 180 days of delay, and 60 days seems more correct, I'm assuming that this an error, and I'm guessing that PlusNet will correct this in due course. As it's simply a credit to my account, it's not as if I can rush off and spend it!

Uhm, yeah, wow, that's a juicy looking credit!

I have the Billing guys looking at this now, it is most definitely a mistake.

You should see some emails coming through over the next couple days confirming the amount you are actually owed.

Well, given that I'm about to retire, I could use a few more surprises like that, only not ones in error Wink
