Possible Scam Text From PlusNet?

This morning I received 2 text messages in quick succession claiming to be from PlusNet

The number they used was: 07800003951 - Anyone recognise this number, or had similar text messages?

I have certainly never given my permission to be contacted in this way.

I will not be responding to the text messages and will be reporting them as spam/scam

The text messages I received read as follows:

Hello from Plusnet. We'd love to get some feedback on your Broadband experience. We're sending you a short survey. To opt-out, please reply with STOP.

Based on your recent experience, how likely are you to recommend Plusnet to friends or family? Please score between 0 (unlikely) and 10 (highly likely).

A google search on the mobile number 07800003951 does show it coming up as a survey questionnaire, reports of the number being used by BT and EE. Some report it as a scam text.

I always ignore these type of text messages and never text STOP as I find they usually give up if you do not respond.

Check your marketing preferences in your Members Centre you might be able to opt out.

I had done a search on the number before I posted

My post is more of a general "Heads up" to other PlusNet users and to see if anyone else had received the same text messages

A simple   " For Info: " might have explained the reason for your post...................

I've received several texts from that number over the years. In most cases they arrive shortly after I've contacted customer support and talked to an agent.
