Still not received refund

Hello.
I made a post 4 weeks ago regarding a refund after cancellation. I was advised to call and deal with it over the phone.

I was put through to the appropriate team and was told that I would receive a full refund. I am still awaiting this refund.
How long does this usually take?

Normally paid within 30 days unless you closed your DD which should be credited with your refund. Otherwise you will be posted a cheque, that's why we advise against closing DD until all accounts are settled.

I did cancel the direct debit.
Is the timeframe the same for a cheque?

I'm sorry to hear you've not received your refund yet.

I've raised a ticket to the relevant team to look into this and as soon as we know more we'll be in touch

 

After the 3rd of November I will have a limited presence here as I have moved to a new role
