Unfortunately looking like time to leave

Hi all. Admin and Plusnet staff. Unless i want to use X or phone this is the easiest way to put across my intentions. I have been with Plusnet for quite a few years without any problems, but every April the bill goes up! I have up to 38mbps part fibre and home phone which is now about £26 per month. Light speed have offered me a full fibre 75mbps, 24month contract with no increase, for £18.99 month…. It seems like a no brainer. They will even pay for my early termination which ends in September so what reason do I have to stay just to be loyal?? Many thanks for the service which has been fine.

Re: Unfortunately looking like time to leave

Ringing up to negotiate a better deal seems to be the way things are going unfortunately be it broadband, mobile networks, car insurance etc etc.

Re: Unfortunately looking like time to leave

I tried that way back after many years with PN. My price was increasing, because of the annual rises, by about £2/month. I asked about staying at the existing price - "No" was the response. I left and have been with their parent company for the last 7 years. They are flexible and willing to negotiate, unlike, in my experience, PN.

Re: Unfortunately looking like time to leave

Hi @fibreinternet I tried calling you on both your landline and mobile, noting there was no answer, I hope that you have received my voicemail.

I was calling to progress further the matter regarding the price and wanting to leave Plusnet, I'm sorry if I called at unsuitable time.

Please, can you reply back advising me of a window of time we can call you back to discuss this with you, I have also opened a question on your account here's the link:

I look forward to hearing from you soon

Re: Unfortunately looking like time to leave

I have replied to you once home. For some people they can go all day without having their phone glued to their ear.
Like I’ve already explained reasons for potentially moving if you can better what I’ve been offered just message me the details. Simple and easy.

Re: Unfortunately looking like time to leave

If you had any deal you could make why don’t you just offer it??? Not really filling me with intention of staying. Thanks for at least responding.

Re: Unfortunately looking like time to leave

Hi @fibreinternet

I don't have the autonomy to discuss deals as I do not work within the sales and retentions departments otherwise I would happily advise on this.

Apologies for the inconvenience

Thanks again
