Unlimited Fibre contract renewal

Long time Plusnet / Madasafish customer here.
My broadband (Unlimited Fibre) and line rental contract is coming to an end on 1st July 2023.
I currently pay £27.44, per month and this reverts to non discounted amount of £47.76 out of contract.

The Plusnet email invited me to 'Renew my contract now' for slightly less money than I currently pay. However I get the error message: 'Sorry the offer you clicked on is no longer available' and only provides an option to continue on my current package or upgrade to Full Fibre.
Can someone from Plusnet intervene and check this for me please.

I'm not completely against moving over to Full Fibre 74 or 145 as these are both showing up as cheaper than my current monthly amount without the landline connection. However I want to be sure I wont lose my Domain / email package before signing up to anything new.

Re: Unlimited Fibre contract renewal

This happens all the time. Suggest you give them a call and they will give you the offer as the PN programming seemingly can't cope with it. Remember to have your details, username, passwords etc ready. Also decide what you want; in my case we had landline and FTTC which worked very well, but we decided to ditch the landline as we used landline so little it was costing almost £1 per call.

Thanks for that Mike.
I cant remember the last time I made a landline call however my (now fairly old) home security system is set up to call my mobile if the alarm was ever triggered. Might be time for an upgrade all round though.

Re: Unlimited Fibre contract renewal

Invariably calling up COTS will deliver the best available deal.  If you really have no requirement for a landline, then also only available for existing customers renewing over the phone, you can get a SOGEA line - FTTC without the telephone service.  Some have reported this as being £2 cheaper.

Contact Customer Options Team (aka COTS)

COTs is the place to go to if you want to find out anything to do with your contract in respect of leaving, renewing or simply enquiring about early termination charges (ETCs). They have their own number and tend to answer quicker than the general customer service number.

Direct dial numbers
